A chance to drink loads of ‘orujo’ without having to explain yourself to anyone…?
I really love “polvorones”… I don’t know if you guys have tried to eat a few of them, without scrunching it up, and then try to say a tongue twister.
It is really funny, everything gets stuck in yout mouth;
So try to make a competition of that as we did. We couldn’t finish the competition, but we definetlly did laugh so much with it.

Christmas dinner is the most familiar event in the year.
On this occasion we use to have appetizes (loin, ham, chorizo) , big dishes like stuffed meat (Lamb, veal and small pig called “Toston”) , as well as fish (sea beam and sole).

Christmas is a period of big meals and dinners, too much I should say…
In therms of drinks, wine -depending of region but mainly Rioja, Cava and Ribera Duero – are more popular.
We also like sweet desserts. There are huge variety, something typical of this season is Pan de Cadiz (Similar to Italian Panetone) and Chirstmas Trunk.
