Galleta Maria

New Products for November

by Jonathan on 04/11/2009

As you know, we’re always looking for new ways to bring a little part of Spain back to the UK. As such, we get many requests for various products that represent a little reminder of home or holiday for different people. This month, we are pleased to be able to fulfil some of those requests by bringing you:

  • Altramuces (Lupin Beans): a popular savoury snack that will have you coming back for more.
  • Dried Ñora Peppers: a very common ingredient in many regional Spanish cuisines. We apologise that it’s taken us so long to get this key ingredient!
  • Galletas Maria: the classic ‘Maria’ biscuits that are synonymous with Spain…and Cola Cao of course.
  • Bizcochos: delicately sweet – another classic biscuit from Spain.
  • Cola Cao Energy: the classic Spanish chocolate drink is now available in a ready to drink format.

Hello, I come from the Canary Islands and one of the things I really miss is Majorero cheese from Fuerteventura. It’s one of the best cheeses ever, in particular the semi hard version. it’s almost impossible to get here. would you ever consider selling it?
Anyway, thank you for introducing ‘Chufi’. it’s been my favourite drink for years.

I didn’t know anything about this cheese but actually managed to find some information here. Sounds a lot like our mature goats cheese, no?
